UNIBA Language Institute or ULC is one of the university facilities established as a place where students and the general public can improve their foreign language skills. ULC plays a role in helping UNIBA in having superior, competitive and internationally qualified graduates and improving the quality of graduates who are ready to compete in the global market. ULC is one of the proud facilities of the University that bridges the University's vision and mission to go international.

ULC answers the challenges and demands of society to improve the quality and quality of graduates at Batam University. ULC uses a class concept with a small class pattern and integrated and communicative teaching methods and is supported by facilities and advantages, so that students can master English faster.

CONVERSATION CLASS

This program is a program to improve students' abilities in general activities and real life situations with the aim of addressing and facilitating students to be able to master English properly and correctly. Teaching 4 skills in a balanced manner by focusing on communication skills (Listening, Vocabulary, writing, Grammar, Reading and Speaking.) This program also includes various exercises, games, and activities that will make the class more active, fun, and not boring. In addition, this program applies Hi-Teaching Tech in the form of highly interactive online materials so that students can do the exercises in a very interactive and interesting way.

ENGLISH FOR MEDICINE

In this program, learning will be more emphasized to introduce students more deeply to the use of English in contexts and situations that are tailored to their specializations so that students become more familiar with the language/vocabulary that is more often used for the fields of medicine, nursing and midwifery. In this program, the following are taught and introduced;
